I have really been enjoying the conversations I’ve been having with so many of my clients over the past week.

They have been telling me about their plans for 2015, and how they are super-excited about what they are going to do this year.

And, I’m willing to bet that YOU also have great plans for the year and that you’ve likely been putting things into motion already to make this year one of your best yet!

I’m in there, right with you too! My plans are in full swing and things are already starting to pop!

I wanted to reach out to you today to talk about what to do when you run into a little hiccup in your plans.

You know, it’s all going well, then you hit a point where you can simply can’t seem to figure out what the next step should be. This, for so many people, is the point at which their dreams begin to die.

But it doesn’t have to play out that way for YOU!

Truth is, we ALL get to those points. I hit one right as the New Year was being rung in.

I suddenly felt like I didn’t have the next step figured out and so I was stopped dead in my tracks!

Now there are a few things I do when I hit these points, and I wanted to share them with you today.

First, realize that you are not the first person to ever hit that point in your life. We all go through it.

Next, realize that the answer is “out there” and that it may just take some time and effort to get the answer(s) you need to begin moving forward again.

So who has the answers?

A coach may have the answers for you. A colleague may have have the answers you seek. A fellow business owner may be able to help.

I think today, it’s EASIER than ever before to get out of these sorts of things because we have social media at our fingertips!

I have to confess, I use social media to solve many issues I run into and this last one, it was once again social media to the rescue.

My advice to you is to build your social networks (use any platform that you enjoy most from Facebook, Twitter, or Linkedin) to make connections, begin and continue to have conversations with people and to ask for help whenever you may need it.

Social media is NOT a fad. It’s been the “pump” that has driven the growth of the Internet since day one. Yup, do you remember the BBS days, Usenet Groups, SIG’s, America Online chat rooms… social media has been the #1 reason people swarmed to the online world and it continues to be where the action is.

Make it a daily habit to build connect with new people. Just one a day is all it takes.

Here’s a place to start:

Go ahead and hit the “Follow” button on my page so we will be connected. That will give you the ability ask me for help.

If didn’t already know it, I have a LARGE book of resources that I keep adding to all the

time and have answers to many of the kinds of questions you might have.

So I’m a great resource for you.

Start there and you’re work is done for today.

Then, tomorrow, connect with at least one more person. Get into the habit of doing this daily and soon enough, you’ll see the real value of social media appear right before your eyes.

Together, let’s make 2015 a year to remember!

Be outstanding!
